- "In 1926, Yeadon joined with Rawdon and Horsforth to form a joint Fire Brigade and land was bought on Sizer Hill for the fire station which was designed by local architect George Foggitt. It was demolished in the 1970s and another one built on the opposite side of the road which still serves the area." [has photo of Yeadon FB in 1911, but unknown what location, or if a 'fire station' existed before moving to Sizers Hill]
